Wiley Online Library Current Status: Normal

On 7/30/2024, Wiley reports their EZProxy authentication issue as resolved. As of 4:30pm CT, the Chamberlain Library has confirmed via testing that there appear to be no more authentication issues for accessing full text sources via the Wiley Online Library. We thank you for your understanding and patience during this service degradation on behalf of the vendor. Update: Wiley Online Library has provided us with a partial workaround that re-enables full text access for their subscription content, with the caveat that personal Wiley accounts will be inaccessible while the workaround is in place. This temporary workaround has been implemented and tested by the library and is confirmed to work to access Wiley full texts. Update: As of 2:46pm CT on 7/23/2024, the authentication issue still persists. We are in contact with the vendor and they are aware of the issue, but still have no ETA of a resolution. Full texts from Wiley Online Library remain unavailable. We understand that this is an inconvenience and apologize on behalf of the vendor.

The library has confirmed a number of reports that the Search Everything system is redirecting titles from Wiley Online Library to the vendor's homepage instead of the article's full text. This issue does not prevent students from accessing any Wiley full text - as a temporary workaround, students should use the Wiley Online Library entry in the Databases A-Z page to ensure that they are authenticated by our proxy, and can then search for the article's title once they are redirected to the Wiley Online Library interface.

We are aware of this and are working with the vendor to identify the issue and apply a fix. There is currently no ETA for full service restoration. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.

As of 3:00PM on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, the access issue impacting Wiley articles and journals has been resolved, and systems have returned to normal.

As of 8:00AM on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, all articles and journals hosted by Wiley Online Library are not accessible, and returning an error reading "This web property is not accessible via this address". The vendor is aware of the outage, and are investigating -- there is not, however, an ETA for a restoration of service.

Currently, the full-text access to our titles in the Wiley Online Library is unavailable.  The vendor has been notified and we are waiting for it to be resolved.
