Academic Writer Current Status: Normal

According to the vendor, the outage for Academic Writer has been resolved and access has been restored.

Academic Writer is currently unavailable and we are in contact with the vendor trying to restore access. There is currently no ETA as to when service will be restored, but you can still access any saved papers after logging into your Academic Writer account.

As of 1:00PM on January 19, 2023, APA Academic Writer has resumed normal service. If you continue to experience errors, please first attempt to clear your Cache and Cookies to "All Time" in the browser you normally use. You can find instructions for doing so on the Library Tech Support page here, under "Step 2: Solve Common Problems"

As of 7:00AM on January 19, 2023, APA Academic Writer is currently inaccessible for most users. This outage has been caused by the failure of the vendor to notify the library of changes to their network infrastructure. 

We are currently working to resolve the matter, and estimate normal operation will resume within the next 24 hours. An update will be posted to this page when more information becomes available.
