How do I search for a specific journal title or an article in a journal?
Find a Journal by Title in the Search Everything Box
- Enter the title of the journal in the Search Everything box on the library homepage. The image below demonstrates a search for the Nursing Science Quarterly journal.

- If the journal is in the library, it will show up in the results of your search. Journals will have a Journal indicator above the title, as highlighted in the image below. Select the title of the journal to open the full record.

- Select any of the View Online options to access the journal, as shown in the image below. There may be only one link or many.

Find a Specific Article in the Journal
If you are looking for a specific article in that journal, follow the steps below.
- Locate the volume and issue using the volume and issue lists in the journal. These are usually located at the top or sides of the page. A few examples are shown in the images below.

ProQuest Databases

- Select the link or the volume and issue of interest and the articles in that volume and issue will appear as a result.
- You can browse the list of articles to find one of interest. Most often these will be organized in page number order.
