Where is the APA citation generator in the databases?

The “cite” buttons were removed from the databases due to the University moving from APA 6th Edition to APA 7th Edition.

Below are options for APA citation assistance:

  • Preferred: The Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (7th edition) is a comprehensive guide to APA Style that is required in your courses. You can purchase this manual at the bookstore. See Chapter 10 for reference examples.
  • For instructions on how to locate citation information in the databases and use the APA manual to build citations, see our Introduction to APA Style workshop. Also, see our workshop on how to use the references tab to build citations in Microsoft Word.
  • Another great resource is our APA Citation and Writing guide, which is located in the top navigation menu of the library website. This guide includes examples of APA citations, various writing resources, guidelines, and templates to assist you in your writing process.
  • For further assistance on APA, please contact your professor.
